BSF Vehicle Accident: A BSF vehicle met with an accident near the Line of Control in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. In this accident, a Border Security Force (BSF) soldier was martyred, while six soldiers were seriously injured. According to information, a BSF vehicle has fallen into a 250 feet deep gorge in Mankote sector of Poonch district. All the injured jawans have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment.

According to information, a BSF vehicle lost control and fell into a gorge in Mankot sector of Poonch district on Sunday. In this accident, one Border Security Force jawan was killed, while six jawans were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Official sources said the BSF vehicle Tata-407 HR39-8662 skidded off the road in Mankote sector and fell into a gorge about 250 feet deep. Due to this, seven BSF personnel were injured. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, where one jawan succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The deceased jawan belonged to 158 battalion of BSF. The jawan has been identified as Constable Ram Chandran, the other injured jawans have been identified as Firoz Ahmed, Sanjay Sarkar, Karamjit Singh, Ajay Singh, Devender Singh and Imdadul Haque. Presently all the six injured jawans are undergoing treatment.

There itself, Jammu and Kashmir In Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces got a big success today. Security forces have destroyed a hideout of terrorists in Mendhar of Poonch. From here the security forces have also recovered arms, ammunition and cash. Earlier today, the police had arrested a person who was supporting terrorists from Pulwama area. Police had recovered 5 to 6 kg IED on his spot.
