After talking to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, we have also sent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. This is the time when countries of the Global South must unite for the greater global good. On this occasion, Modi called for cooperation under the framework of five Cs. These include consultation, communication, collaboration, creativity and capacity building.

PM Modi mentioned G-20 meetings

PM Modi said that we had organized Voice of Global South for the first time in January. More than two hundred G-20 meetings were organized in different states of the country. He said that we gave priority to the priorities of the Global South. After this, the topics of the Global South were included in the New Delhi Leaders Declaration and we were successful in getting everyone’s consent. Also, referring to the African Union, PM Modi said that I cannot forget that historic moment when the African Union got the permanent membership of G20 due to the tireless efforts of India.

PM Modi further said that India believes that new technology should not widen the gap between the Global North and the Global South. In the times of Artificial Intelligence, it is important that technology should be used responsibly. To further promote this, next month, India will host the ArtificialEye Global Partnership Summit.
