He is participating in the DY Patil T20 Cup being played in Navi Mumbai. Ishan played for Reserve Bank of India in the match against Route Mobile Limited on Tuesday. This match was played at DY Patil University Ground, Navi Mumbai.

RBI had fielded first in the match. Ishan Kishan was seen in wicketkeeping gloves. Ishan Kishan is part of the RBI team along with Shahbaz Nadeem, Amit Mishra, Ankit Rajput, Dhruv Shorey and Ryan Parag.

Ishan Kishan has not played cricket for 3 months
Ishan Kishan has not played any competitive cricket for the last three months. He last played in a T20 match against Australia on November 28, 2023. After this he went on South Africa tour. But, he withdrew from the Test series citing mental fatigue.

He had asked for a break from BCCI. After this he returned home. After this he was not selected in the team for the T20 series against Afghanistan. At the same time, his name was not even considered for the five-Test series against England.

Dravid had said that Kishan will have to play domestic cricket.
Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid had definitely said after the Vizag Test that the doors of the Indian team are open for Ishan Kishan. However, he had clearly said that if Ishaan wants to make a comeback in the Indian team, he will have to play competitive cricket.

We are not forcing them to do anything.
