Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in the second qualifier of IPL 2023 played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, 26 May. Batting first in the Qualifier 2 match against Mumbai Indians on 26 May, Gujarat set a mammoth target of 234 runs in front of Mumbai Indians thanks to Shubman Gill’s century. Gill scored 129 runs in 60 balls during his innings. Gill hit 10 sixes and seven fours during his innings.
Chasing the target, Mumbai Indians got all out for 171 runs in 18.2 overs. In Mumbai’s innings, Suryakumar Yadav scored 61 off 38 balls, Tilak Verma scored 43 off 14 balls and Cameron Green scored 30 off 20 balls. Gujarat Titans bowler Mohit Sharma took 5 wickets for 10 runs in 2.2 overs. The IPL 2023 final will be played on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
