India-Canada Relations: The dispute between India and Canada has started after the murder of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar. When Canada took action in the matter, India also gave a befitting reply. Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau while giving a statement in this matter today i.e. on Tuesday said that we are not trying to provoke India, but Canada’s capital Ottawa only wants that New Delhi handles this issue properly.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau said regarding this that the Indian government should take this matter seriously. We are not trying to provoke India nor are we provoking India. Let us tell you that the controversy started after Trudeau had claimed a possible connection between the murder of Nijjar and the agent of the Indian government. Canada not only accused India, but also took action by expelling a senior Indian diplomat. Just a few hours later, India also retaliated against Canada by expelling the Canadian diplomat.
America gave a statement
The US expressed concern over the allegations and said it was important that the perpetrators be brought to justice. The White House said in a statement that we are deeply concerned about the allegations made against India by Prime Minister Trudeau. Also, he further said that we remain in regular touch with our Canadian diplomats. It is important that Canada’s investigation moves forward and strict action is taken against the culprit.
