IND vs ENG, Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan: The last match of the 5 test match series between India and England will be played in Dharamshala. This match will start on March 7. If middle order batsmen Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel get a place in the playing 11 in the Dharamshala Test, then these players will immediately become millionaires. Not only this, these batsmen will also get a place in the central contract of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

BCCI issued central contract

BCCI released the central contract for 2023-24 on Wednesday. Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel did not get a place in this contract. Players who fulfill the criteria of playing at least 3 Tests or 8 ODIs or 10 T20 Internationals during the period 2023-24 will automatically be included in Grade C, a BCCI release said. Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan have played 2 Test matches so far, so if they participate in the Dharamsala Test match, i.e. the 5th Test of the ongoing series against England, then they will be included in Grade C. Players included in Grade C get Rs 1 crore annually. In such a situation, both these players can become millionaires in Dharamshala Test.

Performance of both in the series

Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel made their Test debut for India in the third match of the Test series against England. The performance of both the players in the debut test was excellent. Safraz Khan batted brilliantly in the first innings and scored 62 runs in 66 balls. During this period he hit 9 fours and 1 six. In the second innings, Sarfaraz remained unbeaten after scoring 68 runs on 72 balls. Dhruv Jurel played an inning of 46 runs in the first innings of the third test. Dhruv Jurel played a match-winning inning in the fourth Test played in Ranchi. He was chosen player of the match. He scored 90 runs in the first innings and 39 not out in the second innings. Sarfaraz Khan had scored 14 runs in the fourth test.
