Stokes’ performance in the first 2 tests of the series
In the first innings of the first Test of the series played in Hyderabad, Stokes scored 70 runs on 88 balls. Apart from this, the England captain could score only 6 runs in the second innings. In the second match played in Visakhapatnam, Stokes scored 47 runs in the first innings and 11 runs in the second innings. He has not tried his hand at bowling in both the tests of the series.
