IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan will debut in Rajkot!, Ravindra Jadeja returns; Know the playing 11

India Playing 11: The third match of the 5-Test series between India and England is starting from Thursday. Both the teams are currently tied at 1-1 in the series, so Rohit Sharma and Ben Stokes will be eyeing a lead in the series. The Indian team, which is struggling with injuries and absence of players, can take the field in the third test with some changes. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are injured while Virat Kohli is not available for the Test series. In such a situation, Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan may get a chance to make their Test debut in the third match. Apart from this, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was injured in the first Test, can return from the third Test.

Sarfaraz and Dhruv practiced

Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel sweated profusely on the field on Tuesday. Both of them first practiced batting a lot in the nets. After this, while Dhruv practiced wicket-keeping, Sarfaraz practiced fielding at slip. Before the match, Kuldeep Yadav hinted at the return of Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja also practiced batting vigorously during the practice session on Tuesday. Earlier, Jadeja had also participated in practice on Monday. In such a situation, there is every possibility that he will be seen playing in the Rajkot Test. Jadeja was injured in the first Test played in Hyderabad. After this he did not play the second Test of the series played in Visakhapatnam. With Jadeja’s return, a spinner is sure to be in trouble. Apart from Ravichandran Ashwin and Jadeja, the Indian team can take the field with either Kuldeep Yadav or Akshar Patel.

KS Bharat may be on leave

Shubman Gill had injured his finger during the second Test played in Visakhapatnam. After this he did not even come out to field. Gill did not even take part in the optional practice on Tuesday before the third Test. However, he will play the third test. His injury is not that serious. Shreyas Iyer’s injury has strengthened the debut of Sarfaraz Khan. After Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill in the top order, the Indian team can only depend on Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel in the middle order. KS Bharat played as wicketkeeper in the first 2 tests. However, he was quite disappointed with his performance. In such a situation, the team management can express confidence in young Jurel.

Siraj may get a chance in place of Mukesh

If Ravindra Jadeja returns, it will strengthen the Indian batting order. Apart from this, Ravichandran Ashwin is also capable of batting. He has scored 3271 runs in Tests with the help of 14 half-centuries and 5 centuries. As a fast bowler, the Indian team can rely on Jasprit Bumrah as well as Mohammad Siraj. In the second test, the Indian team tried fast bowler Mukesh Kumar, but Mukesh proved to be very expensive. Apart from this he got only 1 success. Rohit Sharma had kept him away from the ball.

India’s probable playing-11 for the third test
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
