After the match, he wholeheartedly praised fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Rohit Sharma said on winning the second test, Jasprit Bumrah is a champion player for us, he often performs well for us. When you win a match like this you have to look at the performance of the entire team. We knew that winning the Test match in such conditions was not going to be easy. But, the bowlers understood their responsibility and tried their best to win.

Hopefully Yashasvi will remain humble: Rohit
Rohit said about young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, "He is a very good player and understands his game. They still have a long way to go. He played an extraordinary innings. He has a lot to give to the team. I hope he remains humble."

Rohit gave advice to the youth
The Indian captain also gave advice to the young batsmen after failing to convert a good start into a big innings. He said that the wicket was good for batting, many batsmen got good starts but could not convert it into big innings. They are young, new to this format, it will take some time. Our confidence increased with this victory. Very proud of such a young team, which defeated a team like England. England is playing very good cricket. The series is not going to be easy going forward. Three more matches are left. We have to do everything right now.
