New Delhi.The third day’s play of the first Test match being played between India and England in Hyderabad has ended. England has taken a lead of 126 runs over India in the second innings. At stumps on the third day, England have scored 316 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the second innings. Ollie Pope batted brilliantly and is unbeaten on 148 runs. Whereas, Rehan Ahmed returned unbeaten on 16 runs. For India, R Ashwin and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah have taken 2-2 wickets so far in the second innings.

On the third day, India’s first innings ended at 436 runs. England had scored 246 runs in the first innings. In this sense, India had taken a lead of 190 runs. However, England started their second innings in baseball style.

By lunch on the third day, the visiting team had scored 89 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in 15 overs. However, when the game started after lunch, Jasprit Bumrah gave two blows to England in quick succession. He first walked Ben Duckett and then Joe Root.

Duckett was out after scoring 47 runs, while Root could score only 2 runs. Apart from this, Jack Crowley was out after scoring 31 runs, Jonny Bairstow after scoring 10 runs and Ben Stokes after scoring 6 runs.

Jadeja missed scoring a century
Jadeja was out after scoring 87 runs in 180 balls with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes. Jasprit Bumrah came to play after Jadeja was out. He was out on the very first ball. His wicket also came in Root’s account. Apart from Jadeja, KL Rahul played an inning of 86 runs.

Joe Root took 4 wickets
Subsequently, Rehan Ahmed clean bowled Axar Patel to end India’s first innings at 436 runs. Akshar scored 44 runs with the help of 7 fours and one six. Joe Root took 4 wickets, Rehan Ahmed took 2 wickets, Tom Hartley took 2 wickets and Jack Leach took one wicket.
