IND Test Squad vs England: Indian team announced for the remaining 3 tests against England, Virat Kohli will not play, Shreyas Iyer OUT

New Delhi. The 17-member Indian team has been announced for the next three tests against England. Virat Kohli will not play the next three tests. Kohli did not play the first two Tests citing personal reasons. After this it was expected that he would join the Indian team for the last two Tests. But, now BCCI has made it clear that Kohli is out of the entire series.

BCCI has said that Virat Kohli will not be available for selection in the remaining three Tests due to personal reasons. The Indian Cricket Board fully respects and supports this decision of Kohli. Kohli’s absence will be a big blow for India. This will be the first time when Kohli will not be a part of the home series in his Test career.

Jadeja-Rahul also returned
At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, who were out of the second Test due to injury, have also been selected in the Indian team for the last three Tests. But, the decision on their playing will be taken even after passing the fitness test. After the injury, both these players were completing their rehab at the National Cricket Academy. Now the way for him to play will be cleared only after getting the green signal from the BCCI medical team.

Bumrah will play the third test

Akash Deep got place in the test team
The Senior Selection Committee has selected fast bowler Akash Deep in the Indian team for the remaining three Tests against England. This means that Avesh Khan has been dropped from the team. By staying with the Indian Test team, Akash will also get a chance to see and understand international cricket closely.

Let us tell you that captain Rohit Sharma and the team management were very impressed by the way Akash Deep bowled in the unofficial Test series against England Lions. For this reason he has been selected in the test team.
