G20 Summit 2023:The G-20 summit is being organized at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Center in New Delhi from September 9. Today, on the second day of the session, PM Modi first welcomed all the leaders at Rajghat. Discussion on the third part of its session, One Future, has also started. Meanwhile, a big information is coming out. A driver of US President Joe Biden’s convoy was detained in Delhi on charges of reckless driving. However, he was later released after interrogation.
Biden’s driver detained
According to media reports, the incident occurred when a car of the US President’s convoy rammed into the Taj Hotel, where UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was staying as the G20 summit is underway in New Delhi. As several stickers were found on the car, security officials present at the spot issued an alert. On enquiry, the driver of the car said that he was to reach ITC Maurya, where Biden was staying, at 9.30 am. The driver said he was not aware of the protocol. He was released after being interrogated by security officials, who removed the car from the convoy.
US President Joe Biden leaves for Vietnam
Biden reached the national capital Delhi on Friday to attend the two-day G-20 summit and held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same day. During this period, agreement was reached between the two leaders on many issues. After paying homage at Rajghat, the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi on Sunday morning, he left for Vietnam. Biden also participated in key sessions of the G-20 summit on Saturday.
