G-20 Summit 2023:The two-day G-20 summit held at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Center in New Delhi has concluded today. This time the summit was hosted by India. Today, in the last session of the conference, One Future was discussed in depth among the group leaders. During the concluding session of the G-20 summit, PM Modi has handed over the chairmanship of the next summit to Brazil.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday concluded the G-20 summit with a ‘Swati Astu Vishwa’ prayer for peace and handed over the responsibility of G-20 chairmanship to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Brazil will officially take over the chairmanship of this elite group on December 1. He said that I declare the G-20 summit closed. Hopefully the roadmap to One Earth, One Family and One Future will be joyful.

Noting that India holds the G20 presidency till November 2023, PM Modi proposed a virtual session to review the issues discussed during the summit. In the last two days, you all came up with a lot of suggestions and made proposals. It is our duty to review the suggestions we have received to see how their progress can be accelerated.

Lula de Silva thanked PM Modi

Speaking on the occasion, Lula da Silva congratulated Modi and thanked India for its efforts to give voice to issues of interest to emerging economies. He said the UN Security Council needed new developing countries as permanent, non-permanent members to gain political power. He said that we want more representation for emerging countries in the World Bank and IMF.
