Chaitendra Tiwari – Khairagarh. The farmer family of Bundeli village of Chhuikhadan block of Khairagarh district of Chhattisgarh has accused the road builder company NC Canal of cheating. The farmers have complained to the Collector of cheating, accusing the company’s manager CM Pathak of reneging on his promise.
The complainants Ganeshpal, Rajendrapal and Lalitpal told that they have an ancestral pond in village Bundeli. He told that the NC Canal Company had taken the contract for the construction of Chhuikhadan-Duniya road three years back. During this time there was a need to put mudrooms in the road, so the manager of NC Nahar Company asked to remove mudrooms from the pond. He promised to remove Murum from the same pond and make it equal later. In this way, coming to the words of the company, he filled the ham for giving mudroom, but even after three years of completion of the work, the company did not level the pond as promised. Apart from this, it was also promised to make old bridge and pond pillar, but the company has not fulfilled even a single thing.
Murum removed from this land
NC Canal Company has taken out Murum from different Khasra number ponds and Dabri. The complainants said that the Khasra numbers are 682, 683, 684 and 685 respectively, which is their ancestral land, whose area is 1.87 acres, 3.50 acres, 0.47 decimal and 2.53 acres respectively. Dabri etc. are situated on the pond made in it. From here the company had taken out Murum and promised to do the levelling, but the company went back on its promise after the completion of the contract work.
Now the problems of the farmers have increased
The pond has been excavated for the construction of road, due to which the appearance of the pond has changed. Due to non-levelling of the pond, the problems of the farmers have increased. The victims have alleged that Murum was excavated from the pond, but neither the pond was leveled nor the bridge was constructed. This is harming them.
