DGCA has taken major action on the incident of urination in Air India aircraft. DGCA has imposed a fine of 30 lakhs on Air India Company on Friday. DGCA has taken this action on Air India Company on Friday for violating civil aviation rules.

Along with this, the license of the pilot-in-command has also been suspended by the DGCA for three months. DGCA has taken this action on the pilot for failing to perform his duty properly under Rule 141 of the Aircraft Rules 1937 and DGCA rules. The DGCA has also imposed a fine of Rs 3 lakh on the Director in Flight Services of Air India Company.

Significantly, in the month of November last year, a passenger in an Air India flight urinated on his co-passenger in a drunken state. After which the victim woman in the case accused Air India of not taking timely action and forcibly compromising.

Following the woman’s complaint, the DGCA had issued a show cause notice on Air India. After this, DGCA has taken this decision while taking action on Air India Company.

The accused was arrested on January 7

Let us tell you that on November 26 last year, an elderly female passenger urinated on a drunken male passenger in an Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi. On January 7, the police arrested the accused Shankar Mishra from Bengaluru in this case on the complaint of the victim woman.

In this case, the police arrested the accused 42 days after the incident. Because the accused was continuously absconding. According to the police, the accused is a resident of Mumbai. After which a lookout notice was issued against him. The police arrested the accused on January 7 with the help of his mobile location. Police has registered a case against him under 354,294,509,510 IPC. Earlier, Ear India had imposed a four-month ban on the accused Shankar Mishra.
