Deepak Rao Arrested: The Intelligence Department of Telangana Police has arrested the most wanted Maoist Deepak Rao. This is a big success for Telangana Police. Today i.e. on Friday, the police has caught Deepak Rao from near Malaysian Township in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Deepak is the secretary of the Western Ghats Special Regional Committee of the South Regional Bureau of CPI. Police have recovered a revolver with six live cartridges, a laptop and Rs 47,250 in cash from him.

Giving this information, Telangana Director General of Police Anjani Kumar said that Rao visited Hyderabad twice. He was coming to visit Hyderabad again, but after information collected by the Intelligence Bureau, he has been arrested. The Director General said Rao has also met Mahendra Tech University professor, film editor B Ajith Kumar, a resident of Madhapur, and Ranjit Shankaran, a resident of Malaysian Township, who were his friends during college.
