Big announcement of Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that now we have announced 59 new routes and 122 new routes will be announced in future. We have a vision to connect Kanpur with Pantnagar, with Aligarh, with Moradabad and with Shravasti. Where 11 airports are operational in the state today, we will start 11 more airports in the coming three years. A total of 22 airports will be set up in Uttar Pradesh. Be it Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Jhansi, Ghazipur, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Saharanpur or Shravasti, airport facilities will be provided at all these places.

Every year 10 lakh passengers will use this terminal

At the beginning of his address, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that today a new sparkle is visible in the eyes of the people of Kanpur. There are two reasons behind this brightness. Firstly, the double engine government of Uttar Pradesh has now been converted into a triple engine government in the recent municipal elections. Second reason, fulfilling the demand for expansion and modernization of the much-awaited airport in Kanpur, the new airport terminal is being dedicated to the public today. He said that 5 international airports are operating in Uttar Pradesh and Jewar and Ayodhya will also be connected to it in the coming time.

He said that this series is still going on and in this series Kanpur airport has emerged as a very important part. It started with a small airport and today the airport has increased 16 times to 65 thousand square feet. In the coming time, the terminal through which only 3 thousand people used to pass, now every year 10 lakh passengers will be able to fix their travel facility from this terminal. This facility will affect not only Kanpur but also the surrounding 8 districts.

Flight traffic in Kanpur increased by 600 percent

Jyotiraditya Scindia, while comparing with the previous governments, said that in Kanpur, during the time of the previous government, in 2014 only four planes used to travel every week. On the other hand, today there is an increase of 600 percent in traffic of 28 aircraft. Agra used to have only 10 flights per week in 2014, whereas today there are 34 flights based on a 240 percent increase. Gorakhpur used to have 12 flights per week in 2013-14, which has increased by 800 percent to 106 flights per week today. The same situation has happened in Sangam city Prayagraj, where in 2014 there was 22 flights in a week, which has increased by 600 percent to 154 today. If we look at the situation of entire Uttar Pradesh, in 2013-14, there were 652 flights per week here.

Total 9 airports in Uttar Pradesh

Jyotiraditya Scindia said that today under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi, one thousand 595 flights take place here, which is an increase of 145 percent. Today we have reached 9 airports in Uttar Pradesh. Within the next one and a half years, a new airport is being built in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Ram, and with this, an airport is going to be built in Jewar which will compete with big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Hyderabad. In the coming time, 6 crore people will leave from that airport. Praising CM Yogi, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the state is developing at a rapid pace. He said that the Chief Minister was asking me what is the progress of airports like Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Agra, Meerut, Jhansi, Aligarh. A person who is concerned for the development and progress of the state can ask this question. Yogi Adityanath is a person who has the ability to fulfill the dreams of the people.
