China’s Defense Minister has come to India for the first time after the border dispute. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday Sugar Interacted with counterpart General Li Shangfu. This conversation took place on the sidelines of the meeting of the Defense Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Delhi. Let us inform that in the year 2020, there was a clash between the soldiers of the two countries in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh, after which the atmosphere became tense. However, since then talks have taken place twice at the Corps Commander level.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the development of relations between the two countries depends on peace on the borders. All issues on LAC need to be resolved as per existing bilateral agreements and commitments. He said that the relations between India and China can be strong only when there is peace on the border and each other’s sovereignty is respected.

Earlier, a statement from the Ministry of Defense was issued, in which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was said to hold bilateral meetings with the participating Defense Ministers on 27 and 28 April. Along with this, it was said in the statement that bilateral defense related issues and other matters of mutual interest will be discussed in the meeting.

According to media reports, the ongoing border dispute in eastern Ladakh was discussed between the two countries. The meeting took place after Chinese Defense Minister Shangfu reached Delhi to attend the SCO Defense Ministers’ meeting. Explain that India is hosting the meeting of the Defense Ministers of SCO. This is the first visit of the Chinese Defense Minister to India after the border dispute in Eastern Ladakh in 2020. Earlier in the past, the armies of India and China held the 18th round of military talks to end the border dispute.
