Know what is the specialty of the plane
The Indian Air Force signed a deal worth over Rs 21,000 crore with Airbus to procure 56 C-295 aircraft to replace the IAF’s aging Avro-748 aircraft in 2021. These planes also have some special features. For take off, only 844 to 934 meter long runway is required and for landing only 420 meter runway is required.
There are going to be 6 highpoints in this aircraft, due to which there will be separate space for installing weapons in it. Two engines have been installed in this aircraft, with the help of which it can be flown at a speed of 482 kilometers per hour. With the help of both engines, it can be flown at a height of 30 thousand feet. This project is going to bring a big change in India’s aviation industry.
