British MP Lord Karan Bilimoria, during a debate in the UK Parliament, described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one of the most powerful men in the world. The UK MP said that India is a fast growing and emerging economy and the time to come is for India’s continued progress. India is on its way to becoming the world’s largest economy.
Referring to PM Modi’s personal life, Bilimoria said that as a boy he sold tea at the railway station with his father, today he is one of the most powerful men in the world as the Prime Minister of India. India has the presidency of the G20 today, due to which all the countries are eyeing India today. Today, along with America, its gross domestic production has also increased. India is poised to become the second largest economy in the world in the coming times.
India has overtaken Britain
Lord Bilimoria said on the ‘importance of relations between Britain and India’ that India has its own strategic importance. Britain should be its closest friend, as well as its full partner. He said that India is a country of youth, due to which India is rapidly moving forward on the path of progress. India is also the fourth largest producer of renewable energy and solar energy. India also played an important role during the Corona epidemic, as the Serum Institute of India, along with Oxford University and AstraZeneca, manufactured the Corona vaccine in large quantities and provided it to other countries as well.
