Bihar: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar got angry at former CM and ‘Hum’ (Hindustan Awam Morcha) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi in the assembly on Thursday. Actually, this incident happened during the discussion on the amendment made in the Reservation Amendment MLA. During the discussion on the bill, former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the caste census conducted in Bihar was not correct. Manjhi said that it has been said that the reservation will be reviewed every 10 years, but has the Bihar government reviewed the reservation? The government should see what is the condition of reservation on the ground. Just this statement of Jitan Ram Manjhi displeased CM Nitish Kumar and he got enraged. At the same time, Jitan Ram Manjhi has hit back at Nitish Kumar’s statement.
Jitan Ram Manjhi hit back
While talking to the media, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that I am surprised that this is the same Nitish Kumar who was there a few days ago, I think somewhere there are some weaknesses in his mind, due to which he is talking like this. . He (Nitish Kumar) became MLA in 1985, I have been an MLA since 1980. They have lost their mental balance.
Manjhi further said that Nitish Kumar had lost in 2014. Everyone started saying that Nitish Kumar should resign. To save his honour, he made a simple man the Chief Minister. He had underestimated Jitan Ram Manjhi.
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar had said in the Assembly that it was my mistake that I had made you (Jitan Ram Manjhi) the Chief Minister. Within two months, people of my party started saying that there is something wrong, remove him, then I became (CM). Nitish Kumar said that he (Jitan Ram Manjhi) keeps saying that he was also the Chief Minister, he became the Chief Minister because of my stupidity. Nitish Kumar said that Manjhi has no idea what he is saying. Nitish Kumar further said that Manjhi now wants to become the governor.
