David Warner Arrives at SCG on Helicopter : David Warner lands in a helicopter at the Sydney Cricket Ground ahead of Sydney Thunder’s Big Bash League match against the Sydney Sixers. The video of him landing on the field from the helicopter is going viral. Warner reached Sydney Cricket Ground in a helicopter after attending his brother’s wedding in Hunter Valley. He landed in the same part of the ground where he landed during his farewell test. "thanks dave" The logo was on.

After retiring from Test cricket, David Warner will play 3 matches for Sydney Thunder in this season of the Big Bash League, including the upcoming match against the Sixers. In this match, Steve Smith will play for Sydney Sixers and all the tickets for the match have been sold.

Sydney Thunder fast bowler Gurinder Sandhu said, "Warner tried hard to come and play for us. We love having them here. Warner performed brilliantly for us last year. Maybe he didn’t score as many runs as he wanted. But, it was wonderful to have him with the team and share his experience. All the fans are also eagerly waiting for him." 

Sydney Sixers pacer Shaun Abbott joked, "It became a bit Hollywood. I got the Lime bike today and will do the same tomorrow night and be out the gate as soon as Davy gets off."

Sydney Thunder have a slim chance of reaching the Big Bash League knockouts but Warner will not be available as he will be taking part in the ILT20 league in the UAE. However, it is now expected that Warner will return from ILT20 and play in the T20 series against West Indies.
