Apart from this, Mafia Mukhtar Ansari was convicted by the court on Saturday in the 2005 kidnapping-murder case of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai. Mukhtar Ansari was also sentenced to 10 years in jail and fined Rs 5 lakh. The Ansari brothers were booked in 2007.
