Adani Controversy: Kharge’s scathing attack on the government, said – 2 thousand policemen to stop 200

Vigorous protests are being held by the opposition demanding a JPC inquiry into the Adani case. Members of opposition parties have come out for a march from the Parliament House to the ED office. Activists will march to the ED office and complain about the Adani case to the investigating agency. 18 party leaders have participated in this demonstration. The opposition is constantly raising questions about the relationship between the BJP party and Adani. The opposition is demanding a JPC probe into the Adani case.

Kharge said on stopping the march  

Through this foot march, the opposition surrounded the BJP with solidarity. Talking to the media, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said that MPs from 17-18 political parties have participated in this march. We want an answer as to how Adani has earned lakhs of crores of rupees within 2.5 years. On this march being stopped by the security forces at Vijay Chowk, Kharge said that they have stopped us here. We are 200 and 2,000 policemen are deployed here. Accusing the central government, Kharge said that the center is giving money to a man to buy government property. PM Modi is encouraging a person who had less wealth earlier, but now has a wealth of Rs 13 lakh crore.

Kharge said that we want to know how Adani’s wealth increased so much. We want to know what is the relation between PM Modi and Adani. We all are going to meet the ED director to submit a memorandum on the Adani scam, but the government is not allowing us to go anywhere from Vijay Chowk. There has been a scam of lakhs of rupees in the country, LIC, SBI and other banks have been ruined. It should be probed deeply.

Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said that the government knows that if the demand of our JPC is accepted, then they will be torn apart in front of the public. All corruption of BJP will be proved in front of common people, that’s why our demands are not being met.
