Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has issued an order that para-gliders, para-motors, hang-gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small Aerial vehicles such as aircraft will not be allowed in the city.
At the same time, a guideline has also been issued by the police, which states that some criminals or anti-social elements or terrorists who are enemies of India, using sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, paras to attack the general public, dignitaries and Can pose a threat to the security of critical installations. The Police Commissioner has issued a warning under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure regarding the ban. Wherein, the violator will be punished under section 188 of the IPC. This ban will remain in force till February 15.
