Whether the risk of death increases due to Covid-19 vaccine or not?

Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths:After the Covid-19 pandemic, the central government launched a large-scale vaccination campaign to save people’s lives. More than 2 billion vaccine doses were given to people across the country. But, within the last one to one and a half years, many cases of death of youth due to heart attack have come to light in the country. Now ICMR has given the answer. ICMR’s study has made it clear that taking at least one dose of the vaccine can reduce the risk of such deaths.

What was said in the study

ICMR has stated in its study that there is no connection with sudden deaths due to Corona vaccine. It says that if a person has taken at least one dose of the vaccine, the risk of death from coronavirus reduces.

The study says that history of hospitalization due to Covid-19, family history of sudden death and drinking alcohol, taking drugs in the 48 hours before death and then excessive exercise 48 hours before death. These are some of the factors which increase the risk of sudden death.

This research mainly ran from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023. 47 hospitals across the country were included in this. Also, the focus was on people aged 18 to 45. But some people were healthy and died without any reason. The research, which included 729 cases and 2,916 controls, showed that people who were given two doses of the vaccine were less likely to have sudden death. But a single dose of the vaccine had no protective effect.
