He highlighted the potential of ABDM to bridge the existing gap between various stakeholders of the healthcare ecosystem such as patients, doctors, hospitals and pharmacy, while ensuring widespread access to efficient, affordable and quality healthcare facilities. The primary objective of ABDM is to establish a national digital health ecosystem to provide comprehensive health coverage.

It will be easy to implement digital health system

The mission includes implementing state-of-the-art digital health systems, creating centralized registries for comprehensive health facilities data management and enabling individuals to access health facilities with personal health records through ABHA. There is a special focus on integrated national portability under ABDM and all medical reports of individuals will be available on the portal. Which enables patients to access healthcare services with their medical records across India. These medical reports can be accessed at any time and in case of an emergency, it proves helpful for the hospital to understand the case history in detail.

Efficiency, easy access and transparency will be ensured

The launch of ABDM in Haryana is a major initiative in the field of healthcare. This visionary initiative will ensure greater efficiency, easy access and transparency in the city’s healthcare system, which will benefit all the people of the state.
