This virus has taken a toll on everyone’s physical and mental health. A study has revealed that negative feelings like anger, stress, anxiety and sadness have increased more than before in the people of India after the Corona epidemic. According to ‘The State of Happyness-2023’, a report by consulting firm HappyPlus, negativity and unhappiness have increased among Indian people. 35 percent of the people involved in this study admitted that they are facing all these negative feelings. On the other hand, if we talk about the study done last year, then in 2022 such negative feeling was seen in 33 percent people. Which clearly means that instead of people getting relief from this tension, more people have now become victims of negative feelings.

Know in which state of the country the most unhappy people

According to the study, Arunachal Pradesh is on top in terms of negative thinking within India. About 60 percent of the people involved in the study in the state have accepted that they are not happy. On the other hand, if we talk about other states, Madhya Pradesh has been on the second number in terms of negativity, where 58 percent people said that they are not happy in their life. While the name of not one but two states is included in the third number, in both the states of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, 51-51 percent people have agreed to be unhappy in life.

This study shows that there is a lack of positive thinking in people’s lives. There has also been a sharp decline in the number of Indians who are happy with their lives. The worrying thing is that a year ago where the percentage of people having positive attitude was 70, this year this figure has come down to 67 per cent. A decline has also been observed in ‘Life Assessment Score’, in the year 2023 this figure has been 6.08 out of 10. Whereas last year i.e. in 2022 this figure was recorded at 6.84.
