The Balochistan High Court has reduced the difficulties of the former PM of Pakistan. The Balochistan High Court has granted temporary relief to Imran Khan and suspended a non-bailable warrant issued by a local court for two weeks for using hate speech and inciting the public against government institutions.

According to media reports, the Quetta Judicial Magistrate had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan following a case registered at Bijli Ghar police station. A case was registered against Imran Khan under several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code and the Electronic Crime Prevention Act, 2016 for defaming national institutions.

Justice Zaheer-ud-Din Kakar of the Balochistan High Court heard the petition filed by Iqbal Shah of Insaf Lawyers Forum on behalf of Imran Khan. The petition stated that the offense was not committed within the jurisdiction of the Electricity Police Station, where the case was registered. Simultaneously, Iqbal Shah requested that the FIR lodged against Imran Khan be quashed.

Suspending the arrest warrant against Imran Khan, Justice Kakar issued summons to the Balochistan police chief, the SP and the SHO of the Bijli police station and adjourned the hearing for two weeks.

The Islamabad police went to the residence of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to arrest him in the Toshakhana case on Sunday. After this, Imran Khan had strongly attacked the institutions of the state and expressed his displeasure while addressing the party workers and supporters at Zaman Park place in Lahore.

During this address, Imran Khan said that he has neither kneeled before any institution or person nor will he allow the country to do so. According to media reports, a total of 37 cases are registered against Imran Khan in different parts of the country.
