Pakistan in (Pakistan) mob lynching A case has come to the fore, in which a scholar was beaten to death with sticks and rods by a mob of fanatics after accusing him of blasphemy. The deceased scholar was a supporter of the country’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The only crime of that person was that he compared Imran Khan with the Prophet.

The deceased had come to PTI’s rally
A man was beaten to death by a mob of religious fanatics in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The incident is of Saturday. The deceased was accused of blasphemy during a PTI rally. According to media reports, a furious mob, accusing him of blasphemy, killed the man, whose video is going viral on social media. In the purported video, a crowd of hundreds is thrashing a man with sticks. The deceased is said to be a Muslim scholar, whose age was about 40 years. It is being claimed that he was a supporter of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and had attended the PTI rally.

Author Harris Sultan criticized the incident
Regarding this incident, Pakistani writer Harris Sultan has tweeted that speaking anything about Islam in Pakistan is not free from danger. The man who was lynched by the mob was a Muslim scholar. The only crime of the deceased is that he confessed in front of everyone that he loves Imran Khan as much as the Prophet. Behind loving Imran Khan, he reasoned that the PTE chief is a very honest person. Harris Sultan wrote in his tweet that I have been saying for almost 5 years that such lynching incidents are going to increase. Harris Sultan has also shared the video in his tweet, in which the furious mob is beating the scholar. Criticizing the incident, Harris Sultan has further written that even a simple comment can kill you in Pakistan. In times to come, no one would mention Muhammad or any other prophet for fear that he might be considered blasphemous. The deceased has been identified as Maulana Nigar Alam.
