The Islamabad High Court on Monday granted interim bail to PTI chairman Imran Khan in seven cases registered against him following the March 18 clashes. Imran Khan appeared in the Islamabad High Court in the Toshakhana case. In petitions filed in the high court, the PTI chief had sought interim bail in cases registered against him at Golra, Bada Kahu, Ramna, Khanna and CTD police stations.

Fear of political instability after Imran’s arrest

A two-member bench of Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the petition of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The petition filed by Imran Khan’s lawyer said that if Imran is arrested, he will suffer a huge political loss and his political opponents will succeed in their nefarious designs.

13 activists taken into custody

According to media reports, 13 PTI workers were taken into custody ahead of the hearing of the petition of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. During this, PTI workers said that we are targeted for strongly criticizing the police and the administration. Along with this, it is very shameful that the voice of PTI workers is being suppressed. Section 144 is applicable in Islamabad.

Section 144 has been implemented in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad from Sunday night. A strict ban was imposed on the gathering of people. Along with this, the police warned that if it is violated, they will be arrested. Along with this, a central control room has also been set up at the SAFE City Headquarters to monitor the situation in the capital.
