India-Canada Relations: The relations between India and Canada are increasing day by day. Meanwhile, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau had given a big statement regarding the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the chief of terrorist organization Khalistani Tiger Force. He had said that there could be a conspiracy by India behind the murder of Nijjar. The central government has now responded to these allegations.

Central government gave a befitting reply

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that we have seen and rejected the statement given by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in his Parliament and the statement of his Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie. Allegations of Indian Government’s involvement in any act of violence in Canada are absurd and motivated. Also said that India has a strong commitment towards the rule of law.

Khalistanis given shelter in Canada

The Ministry of External Affairs said that such baseless allegations try to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists, who have been provided shelter in Canada and who pose a threat to India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It also alleged that Canada’s inaction in dealing with Khalistani terrorists has been a long-standing and continuing concern. The statement further said that the space given to many illegal activities in Canada, including murder, human trafficking and organized crime, is nothing new. We reject any attempt to link the Indian government to such developments.
