G20 Summit Second Session: Discussion on ‘One Family’ is going on in the second session of the G-20 Summit going on in the national capital Delhi. The manifesto regarding this has been approved. In this manifesto, emphasis has been laid on one earth, one family and one future.

Giving information in this regard, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said that the announcement agreed upon by the leaders today on Saturday, September 9, is focused on promoting strong sustainable, balanced and inclusive development. It seeks to accelerate progress on the SDGs and has come up with an action plan. It envisages a green growth agreement for a sustainable future. Supports the High Level Principles on Lifestyle for Development, the Voluntary Principles on Hydrogen, the Chennai Principles for a Sustainable Resilient Blue Economy and the Deccan Principles on Food Security and Nutrition.

Strong manifesto- Amitabh Kant

G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said the declaration focuses on strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth, accelerating progress on SDGs, green growth pact for a sustainable future, multilateral institutions for the 21st century, revitalizing multilateralism. This manifesto has got the approval of G-20 leaders.

Discussion on One Earth ends in first session of G-20

Earlier, the discussion on One Earth in the first session of the ongoing G-20 Summit in Delhi ended. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself gave this information. He gave information about the issues of the first session by posting on former Twitter i.e. PM Modi wrote that he delivered a speech in the first session of the G20 summit on the topic of One Earth. Highlighted the need to pursue human-centred development, which Indian culture has always laid emphasis on.

PM Modi further wrote on the occasion that it is with the spirit of One Earth that India has worked on initiatives like LiFE Mission, emphasized on International Year of Millet, launched Green Grid Initiative – One Sun, One World, One grid, used solar energy, natural farming and encouraged National Green Hydrogen Mission.
