Former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan will be arrested!  Police reached home with warrant

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan may be arrested. Police has reached Imran Khan’s house with an arrest warrant. Islamabad Police has reached the house of former PM of Pakistan on Sunday with arrest warrant in Toshakhana case.

According to the information, the Islamabad Police has reached the residence of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan at Zaman Park with an arrest warrant. The non-bailable arrest warrant against PTI chairman Imran Khan was issued by Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal on February 28 in the federal capital.

Significantly, the Election Commission of Pakistan had said on October 21 last year that Tehreek-e-Insaf party chairman Imran Khan had made false declarations regarding the gifts received as Prime Minister. Subsequently, the Commission disqualified him from the membership of Parliament on charges of false statement and false declaration in the Toshakhana case.

A few days ago, the Islamabad court held former PM Imran Khan as accused of cheaply selling gifts worth crores of rupees from Toshakhana. After which a non-bailable warrant was issued against him. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has given a big statement amidst talk of arrest of former PM of Pakistan. Fawad Chaudhry said that any attempt to arrest Imran Khan would seriously worsen the situation in Pakistan.

He said that I want to warn this anti-Pakistan government not to put the country in further trouble. Fawad said to act wisely. Along with this, he has also asked the workers to gather in Zaman Park, after which many supporters of Imran Khan gathered outside Imran’s house to stop the police.
