Imran Khan has called the action taken by Pakistan’s Shahbaz government on him as an undeclared martial. Shahbaz government has implemented Article 245 in many provinces of Pakistan. Explain that under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan, the army is deployed to protect the country. Imran Khan has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against this decision of the government. The petition filed by Imran Khan states that the arrest, investigation and trial of people as per Pakistan’s Army Act 1952 is unconstitutional and illegal.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan has alleged that the government is trying to destroy his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf through “forced divorce”. According to Khan, over 10,000 PTI workers and supporters are in jail and facing custodial torture.

The PTI chief said in a tweet on Thursday that May 25 last year marked the beginning of our descent into fascism, while three long marches by the PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement) were allowed without any hindrance during the 3.5 years of the PDM government. Houses were broken into in the middle of the night and PTI office bearers and workers were abducted and then anyone who went to Islamabad had to face tear gas, rubber bullets and police brutality.
