There has been an explosion in Afghanistan once again. 15 people have been reported dead in this blast. Abdul Nafi Takor, spokesman of the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan, has given information about the blast. It is reported that 27 people have been injured in this attack and they have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
At least 15 people were killed and 27 others were injured during the blast at the Jahdiya seminary in the city of Aibak, a doctor at the provincial hospital was quoted as saying by Afghanistan’s Tolo News. A spokesman for Afghanistan’s interior ministry said the explosion occurred at a religious school in the city of Aibak. This area comes under the capital of Northern Samagam Province.

The Islamic State group’s Afghan affiliate has been waging a campaign of violence since the Taliban came to power on 15 August 2021. The Islamic State has carried out bombings specifically targeting the Shia Muslim minority of Afghanistan. But Sunni mosques and madrassas have also been targeted. Especially the madrassas associated with the Taliban are being attacked. Both the Taliban and the Islamic State group follow a fundamentalist ideology.
