TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition at the Makina Auto Show in the Philippines. The scooter is equipped with signature LED headlamps, DRLs and hazard lamps. The Race Edition scooter comes with checkered flag graphics along with the emblem.
The new TVS Ntorq scooter gets TVS SmartXonnect, which allows the rider to connect a smartphone to the scooter, thereby unlocking several smart connected features. These can be accessed through the fully digital instrument cluster, which comes with over 60 features. Ntorq Race Edition has been introduced in three color options – Matte Black, Metallic Black and Metallic Red.
The TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition scooter is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC, fuel-injected engine, which produces a maximum power output of 9.25hp and peak torque of 10.5Nm. The Race Edition claims a top speed of 90 kmph and can do 0-60 kmph in 9.1 seconds. TVS NTORQ 125 is India’s first Bluetooth connected scooter. The scooter is linked with TVS Connect, a special application and the Race variant customers will have access to a special race inspired user interface.
Speaking on the launch, company officials said, “Since its launch, TVS NTORQ 125 has been a favorite among Generation Z customers in the Philippines due to its stunning looks and connected features with TVS SmartXonnectTM. Today over 1.4 million global consumers are proud NTORQians and the number will only grow with the launch of the Race Edition. Let us tell you that the prices of Ntorq Race Edition have not been revealed yet.
