Tata Tiago NRG CNG Launch: To compete with the CNG cars of Maruti Suzuki, Tata has launched another CNG car in the market. Both the companies are increasing the portfolio by launching CNG cars one after the other. Tata Motors has introduced the CNG version of its Tiago NRG car in the market. Customers can book the vehicle by visiting their nearest Tata Motors dealership.
The country’s popular auto company Tata Motors has launched the Tiago NRG CNG variant in India. The Tata Tiago NRG CNG XT variant is priced at Rs 7.4 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 90,000 more expensive than the petrol variant of the car. Tata also sells its standard Tiago in CNG, which costs between Rs 6.35 lakh and Rs 7.90 lakh. The company has introduced the car in two variants – XT and XZ. The company has launched this car in 5 color variants, which include Midnight Plum, Flame Red, Arizona Blue, Opal White and Dayton Gray.
Tiago NRG CNG Engine
The hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron aspirated petrol engine in the CNG variant of the Tiago NRG. It is claimed to have 72 bhp power and 95 Nm peak torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Along with this, i-CNG badge is also available.
Tiago NRG CNG Features
Safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control are available in the car. Along with cooled glovebox, fuel switch button, height adjustable driver seat, digital driver display and 7-inch infotainment display feature. The car comes with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, rear park assist sensor and rear wash wiper features are included.
