Samsung New Smartphone: The tech company is working on the Fan Edition of Samsung Galaxy S23. Although, it is difficult to say anything clearly on this right now, but the company can launch it in the tech market in the coming months. As a toned-down version of the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 FE will not use the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A report has also claimed that Qualcomm chipset will not be used in this smartphone.
According to a Twitter user, the company may use the Exynos 2200 chipset instead of the Snapdragon one in the Galaxy S23 FE. The Exynos 2200 processor is the first processor in Samsung’s lineup to use an AMD RDNA 2 GPU. The Samsung Exynos 2200 uses an Xclipse 920 GPU. It will completely change the way mobile gaming is experienced. Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores have been used in the chipset.
There could be some improvements over the previous Exynos processor, but Samsung hasn’t made any official statement on this plan. It also contradicts previous reports that suggested the Galaxy S23 FE would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. It was last year’s top Qualcomm chipset for premium Android phones.
The tipster has shared more specifications of the Galaxy S23 FE. The upcoming smartphone can be given 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with support for 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Samsung can provide a 12MP camera on the front of the Galaxy S23 FE for selfies and video calls. However, the back side could be tipped to include a 50MP Samsung GN3 sensor, 12MP Sony IMX258 sensor, and an 8MP Hi-347 telephoto sensor with 3x zooming capability. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE can be expected to pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging speed.
The launch timeline for the Galaxy S23 FE was suggested by the same tipster. According to them, the launch of Galaxy S23 FE can happen in July or August. It may come after the launch of Samsung’s next foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. As far as the price is concerned, the Galaxy S23 FE could be 20 to 30 percent cheaper than the Galaxy S23.
