: If you are a beneficiary farmer of , then this is very important news for you. It has been said by the government that before December 31, farmers will have to compulsorily get e-KYC verification done. Farmers who do not do this will face difficulties in getting the next installment of the scheme.

Giving information, State Nodal Officer (PM-Kisan) Meghraj Singh Ratnu said that it has been made mandatory for the beneficiary farmers of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to get e-KYC verification done by December 31, 2022. Only then the benefits of the scheme will be available smoothly. The next installment of farmers who do not complete the process of e-KYC can be stopped.

Meghraj Singh Ratnu further said that the beneficiary farmers of the scheme will have to go to the E-Mitra center and get the e-KYC verification done under the Aadhaar card through biometric system. For this, a fee of Rs 15 has been fixed by the E-Mitra Center. The government has made e-KYC verification mandatory to identify farmers who have fraudulently availed the scheme.

Explain that under the , an amount of Rs 2000 is given to the farmers in 3 installments in a year. As per the schedule, the first installment of the year is deposited from 1st April to 31st July, the second installment from 1st August to 31st November and the third installment from 1st December to 31st March. Till now the farmers have received the money for 12 installments of the scheme. The 13th installment is likely to come in the month of December.

Easy way to do e-KYC

Step 1. First go to the official website of pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2. On the home page, you will find the option of , click on it.

Step 3. After this enter your Aadhaar card number, captcha code and click on the search option.

Step 4. After this OTP will come on the link number from Aadhaar card, enter it.

Step 5. After this your Aadhaar will be linked and the process of e-KYC will be completed.
