Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the Honda SP125 2023. Notably, the new Honda motorcycle now complies with the BS6 Stage 2 norms. The 2023 Honda SP125 has been introduced with an OBD2 compliant engine at a price of Rs 85,131 ex-showroom.

The new Honda motorcycle is available in two variants, drum and disc. The drum brake variant of the Honda SP 125 bike is priced at Rs 85,131, while the disc brake variant of the motorcycle can be bought at an ex-showroom price of Rs 89,131. Honda SP125 2023 is available in five color options – Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.

The Honda SP125 2023 is powered by a 125cc PGM-FI engine, which generates maximum power of 10.88PS and peak torque of 10.9Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Based on a diamond-type frame, the motorcycle uses telescopic suspension at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic suspension at the rear. There is either a 240mm drum or 130mm disc at the front, while the rear gets a 130mm drum. There are five-spoke alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.

Key features of the new Honda motorcycle include an LED DC headlamp, fully digital instrument panel, engine start/stop switch and combi-brake system with equaliser. The Honda SP125 has been built keeping in mind the BS6 Phase 2 norms. The Honda SP 125 rivals other 125cc commuter motorcycles in the Indian market, including the Hero Glamour, Hero Super Splendor, Honda Shine, TVS Raider, etc.
