Hyundai Verna 2023: South Korean carmaker Hyundai is soon going to introduce its Hyundai Verna 2023 in the Indian market. The Hyundai Verna has done exceptionally well in India. The car is included in the list of top cars in terms of sales. The sixth generation avatar of the mid-size sedan car will be launched on March 21. According to the information received so far, many advanced technologies and powerful powertrains are going to be seen in the new Verna.

It is obvious that the cost of the new Verna will be more than the old Verna. The new Verna is coming with a lot of changes. In such a situation, we are expecting the ex-showroom price of the car to be between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17 lakh. The current model is priced between Rs 9.64 lakh and Rs 15.72 lakh.

The carmaker recently revealed the features of the new Verna. The car gets segment-first horizon LED positioning lamps. The DRL is visible in the new Verna. At the rear, there are parametric connected LED taillamps. On the inside, the new Verna gets segment-first switchable type infotainment, climate control and front heated/ventilated seats. There is Bose Premium Sound 8 speaker system, 10.25-inch HD audio video navigation system and digital cluster with color TFT MID.

In the new Hyundai Verna, the car has two engine options 1.5-litre MPi petrol and 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol. The MPi petrol mill could be mated to a 6-speed MT or IVT automatic, while the Turbo GDi petrol motor could be mated to a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT automatic. The new Verna’s 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol engine is the most powerful in the segment making 160PS of max power and 253Nm of peak torque. The new Verna measures 4535mm in length, 1765mm in width and 1475mm in height. It has a long wheelbase of 2670mm. In terms of wheelbase and width, the new Verna is better than the new City.
