Regarding this, BSNL has placed an order of Rs 15,000 crore to the company consortium of Tata Consultancy Services Limited. Advance purchase order has been placed for laying BSNL’s 4G network across the country. Let us tell you that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has started efforts to launch 4G in India. The target of rollout of 4G services by BSNL has been kept this year itself. For this, BSNL has issued a purchase order to TCS.

Installation and maintenance will be done on 1 lakh sites

TCS is going to play an important role in BSNL’s 4G project. It will do installation and maintenance on 1 lakh sites. BSNL had in February approved a deal worth about Rs 24,500 crore to the consortium for the equipment. Yesterday the official order was placed by the company to TCS.

Let us tell you that in a conversation with the media, Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told that the installation work at 200 sites of BSNL has been completed. He said that the trial of all these has also started, it is expected to be completed in 2-3 months.

5G service will also be launched

It is being speculated that soon after 4G, 5G will also be launched. It is also expected to be launched by 2024. Consortium has been shortlisted by BSNL to start 4G network. One thing becomes clear from this that BSNL is now going to give 4G to its users. BSNL users always considered themselves less than the users of other company, but now it will not happen. However, the rest of the companies have now moved towards 5G.
