Bank Holidays in April 2023: The beginning of a new financial year in India means that there are going to be changes affecting people’s lives and wallets. The month of April is very important in terms of finance. People have many bank related work and on the other hand the month is also full of many bank holidays. According to the information released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all private and public banks in India will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of April 2023. The annual closing of bank accounts is on the 1st of April, so banks in most states will be closed on 1st April. Apart from 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays, many important events like Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Eid-ul-Fitr will fall in April as a result of which banks will remain closed.
