According to the information released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all private and public banks in India will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of April 2023. The annual closing of bank accounts is on the 1st of April, so banks in most states will be closed on 1st April. Apart from 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays, many important events like Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Eid-ul-Fitr will fall in April as a result of which banks will remain closed.
