Vicky Kaushal on not getting a National Film Award for Sardar Udham: Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal talked about not getting any National Film Award for the film ‘Sardar Udham Singh’. He said that he is not at all angry about this. He said that he has been hearing this story since childhood, but it is surprising that not many people know about it.
According to media reports, Vicky Kaushal has recently given an interview. In which he said that taking the story to the world mattered most to him and the praises that followed were just a bonus for him. Vicky said that he was very happy to see that his film ‘Sardar Udham’ won several National Film Awards. He said that the film was praised at the box office along with getting recognition from the Bollywood industry and all types of genres. It was great to see this.

When he was asked whether he was disappointed that he did not get any National Award for the film himself. To this Vicky replied no. He said that the thing is that sometimes, when you get a film and get a chance to work with a director that you like, you think that your dream has come true, which is what Sardar Udham did. Really true. The actor said that he is not saying this just like that. In fact, being a Punjabi, that subject, that man, that Udham Singh story is very close to his heart.
