Actress Sonal Khilwani, who plays the lead character of ‘Shravani’, while talking about her memories related to Makar Sankranti festival, says," Makar Sankranti is an important festival of India, which is called by different names in every community and culture. This day is considered very auspicious. Like I come from UP and on the day of this festival there is a lot of excitement among the people and many types of dishes are prepared, all types of sweets are there and we all used to fly kites together with music on the rooftop of the house and Used to enjoy delicious food and sweets. Preparations for this would start a week in advance at my home in Banaras. The actress further says that even though I could not reach home this time due to being busy in the shooting of the show ‘Shravani’, I will definitely see the excitement of this day in Maharashtra and enjoy it."
 

Memories of Uttarayan of Ahmedabad:
Reminiscing about the special memories of Uttarayan celebrated in Ahmedabad, Shravani said, " One thing related to my childhood that I still remember is that when I was 4 to 5 years old, I used to live in Ahmedabad city. There this festival is celebrated in the name of Uttarayan. Even though I was young then, those beautiful memories are still in my mind."
