Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Ganesh Chaturthi is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav (Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 date). It is an important Hindu festival, celebrated with great pomp throughout India. It is said that Lord Ganesha likes Modak very much. Lord Ganesha is worshiped for nine days. This festival ends on the tenth day. After this the idol is immersed in Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturthi is said to usually occur between August and September during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. As Ganeshotsav approaches, confusion increases regarding the exact date when the festival will begin and many are wondering whether the festivities will begin on September 18 or September 19. Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 19th September
It is believed that Lord Ganesha was born in the Gregorian month of August or September, which is associated with the Shukla Paksha of the Bhadrapada month of the Hindu calendar. Therefore, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on Tuesday, 19th September and Ganesh Visarjan will take place on the tenth day on Thursday i.e. 28th September.

According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time to welcome Lord Ganesha at home on Chaturthi Tithi will start at 12:39 pm on September 18, 2023. And it will last till 01:43 pm on September 19, 2023. Ganesh immersion will be done on 28th September.
