Dev Anand’s Juhu bungalow has been sold:Late actor Dev Anand (Dev Anand’s house, in which he spent 40 years of his life with his family, has been sold. We are not saying this but it is being claimed in the news of an English website.
According to media reports, Dev Anand’s Juhu bungalow has been sold to a real estate company. Its deal has also been done and now the paperwork is also going on. It is being said that the actor’s house has been sold for around Rs 350-400 crore. This is because it is in a good location with bungalows of prominent industrialists of the area. According to the news, MadhuriActresses like Dixit Nene and Dimple Kapadia alsoLived in apartments around the bungalow. Now a 22 storey tall tower will be built in its place.
When Dev Anand had bought the house, people were not aware of it.

The actor had revealed in his interview that he chose this place because he fell in love with its forest. TheyHad built his Juhu house in 1950. At that time Juhu was a small village and there was a complete forest here. He liked it because he was alone.
Because of this the bungalow is being sold.
The house where Anand lived for nearly 40 years is being sold because there is no one to take care of it anymore. His son Sunil lives in America while daughter Devina lives in Ooty with mother Kalpana Karthik. There is no one to take care of the property in Mumbai and hence they have decided to sell the bungalow.
