In an effort to model madrassa education in the state, the Waqf Board has decided to implement a dress code along with the NCERT syllabus in its madrassas from the next academic year. Model Madrasa

He said that the board has also decided to set up seven model madrassas. These include two madrassas each in Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts and one in Nainital. Smart classes will be organized in these madrasas.
