UGC NET Exam 2024: A big news for the candidates waiting for the date of UGC NET exam. UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar has announced this, according to which the UGC NET exam of the year 2024 will be conducted from June 10. The examination will be conducted between June 10, 2024 and June 21, 2024.
This is a computer based exam i.e. candidates will have to give online exam. A large number of candidates participate in this examination every year. Along with this, the UGC Chairman has released the dates of other major examinations.

However, it will take time for it to be updated on the website, because this news has come recently. This examination is conducted through NTA i.e. National Testing Agency. Soon, official notification can also be issued
What will be the registration fee?
Information about UGC NET exam can be given only after the release of official notification. But, considering the trend of last years, we are sharing some information with you. To apply, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1100. OBC category fee is Rs 550. The fee for SC, ST and PWD categories is Rs 275. This examination is conducted twice a year.

This examination is of total duration of 180 minutes, which consists of two papers. The first paper is of 100 marks and the second paper is of 200 marks. 50 MCQs are asked in the first paper and 100 MCQs are asked in the second paper. Talking about the exam shifts, the first shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm. Also, you get plus 2 for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
